Get comfortable with Lightroom
Find your way around the essential tools and work through the editing process step by step.
Crop, straighten & adjust colour
Refine your composition, level horizons and make considered colour adjustments.
Export & add a watermark
Prepare your edited photographs for sharing and learn how to apply a watermark.
Personal, practical tuition
My photographs — and, with your permission, yours.
I teach with photographs I have taken myself, explaining the decisions behind each edit. You are also welcome to bring your own photographs. With your permission, we can work through selected images together, so you can see how the techniques apply to pictures you care about.
We look at what each photograph needs, rather than asking everyone to copy the same settings. You will learn how to assess an image, choose adjustments and understand why they help. We will also discuss when to leave something alone and what editing cannot solve.

Learning in Lymm.
This group course takes place in Lymm, Cheshire. The venue is selected for the activity and group size, so it can change between sessions.
Once a date is available, you’ll receive the venue, access, parking and equipment information before your booking is finalised.
