Photography and Lightroom lessons can be taught entirely in Italian. Ask questions and work through the technical terms in the language you feel most comfortable using, with time to try things for yourself.

Learning Italian? Bring your camera.
Practise Italian while taking photographs: talk about colours, light and what you see. We can mix Italian conversation with English explanations, at a pace that feels comfortable.
Photography remains the focus, with informal conversation adapted to your Italian level. Come on your own, with friends, or ask about a session for your conversation group. Tell me your starting level and how many people would join.

Good photographs start with what matters to you.
A lesson can begin with something specific: photographs of family that keep coming out blurred, a camera bought for a holiday, or a collection of images you never quite finish editing. We can use that starting point to choose practical exercises, rather than work through every feature on the camera.
Find a composition in familiar places
A locally agreed walk in Altrincham or Sale can become a lesson in lines, colour, reflections and timing. We will choose a route around what you want to practise, your mobility and the conditions on the day.
Make editing manageable
Bring your laptop and, optionally, a handful of your own photographs for a Lightroom session at an agreed indoor location. My examples are also available. We can build a repeatable approach to choosing your strongest images, adjusting them and exporting copies to share.

Fit the lesson around your learning.
For Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon and Timperley, tell me your preferred area and whether an indoor session or an outdoor walk would work best. For Sale, the same approach applies: we agree the location together instead of assuming you will travel to a fixed classroom.
Private tuition can focus on one person, or a small group of friends with shared interests. Send the number of learners and their experience levels. I will confirm the proposed length, location and total price, including any travel charge, before you decide. Published group day courses remain in Lymm.

Can the lesson focus on family photographs?
Yes. We can work on light, focus, movement and backgrounds. Tell me what you want to practise and who would take part, so we can agree a suitable session.
Can you help with the photographs from my holiday?
Yes. A Lightroom lesson can use a selection of your holiday photographs. Tell me which Lightroom version and laptop you use, and what you find difficult, so we can plan the session.
Do you have a studio in Altrincham or Sale?
I teach at agreed locations and do not advertise a permanent studio in either town. Your confirmation will set out where we will meet and what to bring.
