Photography and Lightroom lessons can be taught entirely in Italian. Ask questions and work through the technical terms in the language you feel most comfortable using, with time to try things for yourself.

Learning Italian? Bring your camera.
Practise Italian while taking photographs: talk about colours, light and what you see. We can mix Italian conversation with English explanations, at a pace that feels comfortable.
Photography remains the focus, with informal conversation adapted to your Italian level. Come on your own, with friends, or ask about a session for your conversation group. Tell me your starting level and how many people would join.

From camera settings to photographs you meant to make.
Perhaps your camera stays on Auto because the other settings feel unpredictable. We can start with a few of your photographs, identify what is getting in the way, then practise one change at a time. You set the pace: there is room to repeat an exercise and ask the same question twice.

An agreed outdoor route can give us changing light, everyday details and different viewpoints to work with. Around Warrington or one of the surrounding villages, we can concentrate on seeing a photograph before changing the settings.
Bring the photographs together
For Lightroom tuition, bring the laptop you use for editing and, if you like, a small selection of your files. We can also use my examples. We can work through selecting images, balancing exposure and colour, and exporting a finished photograph. Tell me which version of Lightroom you have.

A session near home, or a group day in Lymm.
For private tuition, tell me which part of Warrington suits you and whether you would prefer to work at home or outdoors. Stockton Heath, Appleton and Grappenhall are also areas I can discuss with you. We will agree a specific meeting point or address before booking; there is no permanent teaching venue advertised here.

Can you help me move beyond Auto?
Yes. We can begin with the photographs you want to make, then practise the settings that help with those subjects. You do not need to understand Manual mode before getting in touch.
Can a friend join a session in Warrington?
Yes, ask about a small private group. Tell me how many people would come, their cameras and what everyone wants to learn so I can suggest a suitable format and quote.
Do I need to come to Lymm?
You can ask for private tuition at an agreed location in the Warrington area. The published group day courses are in Lymm; I will confirm the exact venue and access details before booking.
